Why not margarine? My daughter is allergic to dairy and we have to sub margarine. These sound delicious though.

Jennifer.... you CAN use margarine.... it just tastes SO much better with butter. I am a huge butter fan (health factors and taste) but since you daughter is allergic you have to do what ya have to do! I also use a lot of coconut oil... can she eat that?

Ok, thanks, I hate to do it, I am still looking for a butter like substance that isn't horrible for you but has no dairy in it. It is frustrating having to feed her (and sometimes us) something that is so bad for you. She can have coconut oil, but I don't have any on hand. Will look for it this week. Thanks.
